IKWC Qualifier Events
The Indoor Kart World Championship is currently an "Open" event, meaning drivers do NOT have to pre-qualify through other events before signing up to compete in the World Championship. However, every year more and more Champioinships around the world chose to award their top driver or drivers with sponsorship towards entry in the Indoor Kart World Championship. These include one-off weekend events as well as multi-race events throughout a period of a few months. Some will offer a free entry into the IKWC, while others will go further and offer an all expense paid trip to their Champion.
Organizers see the connection to the Indoor Kart World Championship as giving a higher purpose to their competition and helps attract more drivers to compete. If you are a track owner or race organizer, we encourage you to contact the IKWC about making your event a "Word Championship Qualifier" event!

CIKI - Campionato Italiano Kart Indoor
(Italian Indoor Kart Championship)
The 2011 Campionato Italiano di Kart Indoor is a 4 day event which took place on February 17-20, 2011 at the MoKart Pista Kart al Coperto in Como (Montano Lucino). The event was the first Championship of its kind in Italy and awarded the Top 3 drivers with entries in the 2011 Indoor Kart World Championship in Belgium. The 2011 Italian Campione and the Vice-Campione (1st & 2nd places) not only won the entry in the 2011, but will also have their travel expenses sponsored by the CIKI. .JPG){kind=small}

BRKC - British Rental Kart Championship
The British Rental Kart Championship is happening between March and July 2011 and will award a free entry to the 2011 Indoor Kart World Championship to its Champion. The BRKC is a multi-race, multi-track Championship, running on both indoor and outdoor tracks! Tracks currently include: Grand Prix Karting (Birmingham), Herefordshire Raceway (Hereford), Kartsport (Cambridge), Matchams Karting (Bournemouth), Rogue Karting (Aylesbury), and Daytona Karting (Milton Keynes). Seletiva IKWC Velopark (Brazil IKWC Qualifier Championship)
The 2011 Brazilian IKWC Qualifier event is scheduled for June 25 & 26 at Velopark in Rio Grande do Sul. Velopark is a brand new racing complex located in Nova Santa Rita, only 30km from Porto Alegre, the capital of Rio Grande do Sul. Recently opened in May 2010, this modern facility includes a road racing circuit built to host major national and international events, 3 outdoor kart tracks, car & kart racing school, & complete infrastructure. Since its opening, Velopark has quickly established itself as one of the top racing complexes in Brazil & South America. Metal Moro, which provided the karts for the 2009 Indoor Kart World Championship in Brazil, is working on 30 new karts for this event. The Champion of the event will win a fully sponsored ride in the Velopark Team at the 2011 IKWC in Belgium, including travel and stay expenses! Positions 2nd through 5th will receive a race car test-drive/course (Veloce Experience) at Velopark, and 6th through 10th a free entry in Verlopark's Campeonato Amil de Kart 2012. USIKC - United States Indoor Kart Championship
The United States Indoor Kart World Championship takes place every year at North America's largest indoor kart racing complex, the F1 Race Factory Indoor Karting Center in Phoenix, Arizona - USA. It is a 3 day event, and usually happens in October or November. The latest USIKC happened on November 4-6, 2011, and American driver Jon Kimbrell emerged as United States Indoor Kart Champion for the 3rd year in a row!!
