2011 IKWC Karts

2011 Indoor Kart World Championship participants will be racing in French built SODI GT4 karts. Eupener Karting will be fielding a brand new fleet of these outstanding state-of-the-art karts for the 2011 IKWC.

Bolted to the chassis will be the reliable Honda GLX 270cc engines, which will deliver their power to the track through American made DeCuzzi Tires. The karts are capable of reaching speeds up to 50mph (80km p/h), and will carry weight ballast** to equalize driver’s weights during the competition.

Sodi's GT2 is the most popular rental kart in the world. Improve the best, and what you get is the Sodi GT4. The new SODI GT4 chassis was designed to be sturdy enough to sustain the pressures of both indoor and outdoor rental kart tracks. It boasts an innovative and unique design with major technological advances that perfectly combines driving comfort with unprecedented agility for maximum performance in the competitive and leisure environments.

The GT4 is also the first Sodi kart to be equipped with the company's new "HEAD System". The "HEAD system" is a patented high energy absorbtion system which will offer a level of safety and comfort previously non-existent in the rental kart community. With its updated, clean and modern aesthetics and its numerous technical improvements, the Sodi GT4 is a worthy succesor to the GT2 and will likely take its place as the most popular rental rental kart in the world.

Created in 1981, Sodikart has successfully become in 20 years the leader in karting and worldwide renowned player on the market. The company is located in Nantes (France). Its 8000m2 factory accommodates 70 employees in sales, production, administration and R&D departments.
