F1 Race Factory: 9 Races at the 2010 IKWC!
July 13, 2010

July 13, 2010 (Phoenix) - The F1 Race Factory track has announced this week that they will add 1 more hour of racing to the previously planned racing schedule, in the form of two 30 minute races. The entry fee and the schedule of race days remains unchanged, so all drivers competing this year are radiant by this unexpected bonus.
"I think it is great news that 2 races have been added to the original 7. This means that drivers that reach the Finals will have driven 9 karts throughout the event. The more karts the drivers get to drive, the more even everything gets." said Gregory Laporte, 2009 World Champion from Belgium.
"This was a very nice gesture by the track. F1 Race Factory enjoys hosting the Indoor Kart World Championship and wanted to show their true appreciation to these very dedicated racers. Many have traveled across oceans and continents to come race at the Phoenix facility, from places as distant as Austria, Belgium, Great Britain, Colombia, and Brazil. "said Carlos Carneiro, President of the IKWC. "The IKWC is always very exciting and competitive with the sport's Top international names racing at the same event, and more racing can only add to that."
The 2010 Indoor Kart World Championship schedule now consists of SIX 30 minute races, ONE 1 hour race, and TWO 45 minute races. Race 9 is the Final and will field the Top 25 drivers in points after all groups finish Race 8.
